Privacy notice on the processing of personal data

This is a translation for convenience. The binding version is the Turkish privacy notice.

Under Article 10 of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK"), this notice explains how we process the personal data you share with us through the quote form on our website, by phone and on WhatsApp.

Personal data we process

• Identity: your first and last name.
• Contact: your phone number and, if you share it, your email address.
• Request: the product you want a quote for, any note you add and your preferred way of contact.
• Vehicle (only for car insurance, and optional): the number plate.
• Transaction security: date, time and IP address records of the form submission.

Why we process it

• To receive your quote request, prepare quotes from the insurers we work with and contact you,
• If you ask us to, to carry out the steps needed to take out an insurance policy,
• To answer your questions and your requests about claims,
• To meet our legal obligations and keep information secure,
• And, only if you agree, to send you renewal reminders and offers as commercial electronic messages.

Legal grounds

Your personal data is processed under KVKK Article 5/2 because it is directly related to entering into or performing a contract (c), necessary to meet our legal obligations (ç), and necessary for our legitimate interests provided it does not harm your fundamental rights and freedoms (f). Commercial electronic messages are sent only with your separate explicit consent; not giving it does not affect your quote.

Who we share it with

In line with KVKK Articles 8 and 9, your personal data may be shared with the insurers we act for, to prepare quotes and issue policies; with the hosting and communication providers we use to run the service; and with public authorities that are legally entitled to it.

How we collect it

Personal data is collected electronically, partly by automated means, through the quote form on our website, phone calls and WhatsApp messages.

Your rights

Under KVKK Article 11, you may apply to the data controller to:

• learn whether your personal data is processed and, if so, request information about it,
• learn the purpose of the processing and whether it is used in line with that purpose,
• know the third parties in Turkey or abroad to whom it is transferred,
• ask for it to be corrected if incomplete or inaccurate, or deleted or destroyed where the law allows,
• ask for these corrections or deletions to be notified to the third parties it was transferred to,
• object to a result against you that arises solely from automated analysis,
• claim compensation if you suffer damage because of unlawful processing.

How to apply

You can send your request in writing, in line with the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller, to Emrez Mah. Akçay Cad. No:60/1, Gaziemir / İzmir, Turkey. Requests are answered free of charge within thirty days at the latest.
